  Decent Business hotel in City Centre

  We had visited the Wuxi Grand hotel for a business trip. Stayed just a couple of days. The rooms were a bit dated but decent. We did not eat in the hotel, but the location was good and very central. There is a lot of shopping around and quite a few restaurants as well. The wifi did not work well.

  Satisfactory stay.

  Room average. Bathroom needed updating. Beds as hard as everywhere else. Shower in bath with a shower curtain. Wifi very weak in our room but we were right at the end of the passage on the 7th floor. It was fine in the ground floor and in bar and restaurant. Absolutely delightful lady working in the bar in the evenings. So eager to serve and help. Her English was good and she even got me some ice for my travelling companion to put on her very swollen foot. Drinks were very expensive as elsewhere. They did have a shop that sold a small amount of alcohol so bought a bottle of gin. Worked out much cheaper and tonic was available in cans. Breakfast average for China.

  Ok hotel

  Room was clean and comfortable Exercise room was horrible... hardly anything worked , got as a sauna and DANGEROUS equipment. A guy actually got hurt while i was there Welcome staff was friendly and helpful. Location pretty good, not great.

  Very good!

  Stayed only one night (booked by travel agency because it was a group trip). Very nice, clean and modern hotel, breakfast was included. Between bathroom and room is a glass wall which is so funny (of course blinds are there). In China trip the pillows and mattresses in all hotels (except Shanghai) were so COMFORTABLE!

  Nice Hotel with Great City and Lake View

  Clean and conformable Hotel for a stop over. We stayed here one night as part of our 13 days tour. Superior double rooms on higher floor which have great lake/water view. The bathroom has electric frosted glass, quality hotel amenity. Buffet breakfast have good selection of food both western and local specialty. Don't be surprise if you see chicken feet or silky tofu with pickle + vinegar + sesame oil. Staff should clear the dirty plates faster - breakfast table needs to be neat and clean to match with the grand name and look. Limited staff can speak English but they willing to help. There are many local Chinese restaurants cross the road. 5 mins taxi to shopping center and massage, 10 mins taxi to the the Famous Taihu Lake, a beautiful lake with modern City at the backdrop. Would come back to Grand Kingtown Hotel Wuxi !
