  Great but you suffer

  This place is great. Clean and a good price too. I would recommend staying there any time except....the noise from the across the street bar which is called Bee Hive. You can wear earplugs but the bass is so loud that it keeps you awake until the bar closes which is anytime between 2 and 3 am. So do not book over the weekend. Otherwise I would highly recommend this place.

  Very nice but not for everybody

  We really liked this place. Very courteous and helpful staff, rooms are clean and serviced daily, and kitchen and pantry are great for self-catering. It is located inside the Protea compound, so very safe and quiet while also affordable. Some inconveniences with the sometimes low water pressure, the inconsistent WIFI, and loud music from the Beehive. On the whole, however, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

  Holiday

  We enjoyed our stay in Livingstone and the apartments was clean and well set out. The beds wete comfortable with nice crisp linen and lovely towels in the bathroom. However, there were no mosquito nets and the mosquitos were everywhere. The apartment was full of them every night. The staff were very kind in trying to alleviate the problem with insect spray but the mosquitos persisted. The pub across the road had very loud music every night until 4am. There was no complimentary coffee tea or sugar and we arrived at 5.30pm. Thankfully there was a petrol station next door with a shop ehere we could buy a few items and we are dinner at the Protea next door. Wouldn't stay again due to noise and mozzies.

  Perfect for families with kids

  Our apartment had two bedrooms. One with a double bed and the other twin beds. Each self-contained. Air-conditioning in both bedrooms plus ceiling fans. Living room had a ceiling fan but no air-con. It was nice and homey, reasonably priced, and we could choose whether to eat out or prepare our own meals. They apartments share the entrance with Protea so security is sorted out. The place was very neat and we'll maintained both inside and out. Braai stands are available. There is a shopping centre not far from the apartments to get supplies, and a minimart at a gas station very close by for emergency purchases eg bread, insect repellant, bathroom, toothpaste etc....For the younger children there is a small playground with swings, slide, monkey bar , seesaw and a roundabout. The only issue I had was the noise coming from the cafe across the road at night. The rooms furthest from the road are better in terms of a little less noise. Otherwise a lovely place to stay.

  Lovely

  Very good place especially If you're traveling with kids. We were here with a 2 yr old and a 6 yr old. It was just perfect. Very homey and nothing to worry about. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable, water pressure very good. Everything was just perfect. Environment, clean.there was an odourless mosquito spray provided so mosquitoes and bugs weren't a problem. I recommend these apartments. Will be back again.
