  Located in a Beautiful Place

  We stayed at Trelawn for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it very much. We stayed in the larger out building (cannot remember the name), which is a stand alone cottage on the property. It is a nice little bungalow with great views over the river, a private deck and great privacy in general. Mike and Nery were very hospitable even though we did not interact with them much because there is too much going on in Queenstown in general. Trelawn is maybe 5km outside of Queenstown but is a very easy drive to get there (for your first time, keep an eye out because the drive is a little bit hidden). A nice spot particularly if you do not want to be right in the heart of Queenstown.

  Trelawn is a gem of a place to stay if near Queensland, NZ

  We had an awesome experience and now fond memories of Trelawn, staying there three nights this past November of 2019. We stayed in the cottage and two of our couple friends stayed on the property also in lovely accommodations. It felt soon like home except it was in exceptional surroundings high in the mountains with a beautiful river below us. Neri and Michael have landscaped the country place beautifully and flowers and blooming trees added even more to their lovely setting. Neri and Michael, also, were extremely accommodating when we were not able to arrive back to Trelawn on our scheduled 3rd night due to being stranded an extra night at Milford Sound. They let us return a day later and very graciously provided us again with lodging. Our cottage was very clean, very comfortable and the outside cottage furniture was greatly enjoyed with our travel friends. Another plus of Trelawn is that it is a short drive to Queenstown and also to the quaint little village of Arrowtown. Karen and Eldon Sheffer U.S.A.

  A beautiful, private place.

  Micheal and the corgi's greeted us. Micheal escorted us to the cottage while informing us about all the things to do in the Queenstown area. He and Neri were very accommo dating during our stay in January 2020. It is great place to stay.

  First we extended, then we came back.

  We stayed in Cherry Tree House which is self contained and separate from the main building, only a few yards though so hosts and corgis always on hand. The cottage is lovely, it is in a spectacular position overlooking the river with a very large deck. The garden like all the grounds at Trelawn Place are a delight. The cottage is very comfortable, warm and clean, there is a large sitting area, a reasonable kitchen space and a fair amount of equipment, some a bit dated but quite adequate. There is a lovely spa bath, separate shower, toilet, washing machine and drier, to the side a dressing room with lots of storage. Upstairs is a large comfortable bed in a light airy bedroom, we slept well. Our original booking was for a week but we extended by two days we loved it so much; two weeks later we went back for another night, we wanted another two night booking as well, its so good but was not available. Lastly, Nery and Michael and the corgis. Michael was always busy maintaining the grounds, Nery was more than helpful to us and the corgis were a delight. They are a lovely couple, good at what they do and one day we hope to return.

  The most wonderful birthday!

  The most beautiful view in Queenstown in my opinion and I have visited Queenstown many times in my life! It was absolute perfection - a surprise birthday getaway with the husband for my 29th. We stayed in the Cherry Tree House cottage and it was divine. Stunning view from almost everywhere in the house. Felt private and (mostly) quiet aside from the Shotover Jet during the day, which was not disruptive though. Lovely bathroom and kitchen facilities, we enjoyed the spa bath but the outdoor hot tub was even better! Such a warm little cottage and our hosts were lovely - as were the Corgis! It was the most amazing experience and we hope to stay again <3
