  No era lo esperado!!

  Hotel a las afueras de la playa, a 3km de ella, como hace mucha color mejor pedir taxi en recepcion, te cobran 12RM a llevarte a cenang pantai (playa. Bueno, he de de ir q me esperaba más de este hotel. La arquictonia del hotel es muy bonita, pero le falta mantenimiento, las tapicerias de fuera, en la zona piscina, sofás están muy sucias. Nos tocó una habitación q da a un pasillo, muy grande, y q necesita mantenimiento en el lavabo, perdia agua. La habitacion es bonita, pero cabezales sucios, no nos gustó alojarnos aquí, el desayuno, comida como si fuera a medio dia, torradas y fruta, los sanwich un poco duros. En recepción simpaticas chicas. La piscina muy bella, Cuando llueve para q cae el gran dilubio por la huralita en el techo No nos volveriamos alojar aqui ni lo recomendaros

  First time

  First time in Langkawi and although this hotel was adequate I wouldnt stay there again. Rooms were spacious and clean and as described. A good 10 minute walk the the centre and beach. Found Grab, similar to Uber taxis which were very good and cheap. The breakfast was not great with not a great choice

  Great mid-range hotel

  So we have just returned from a month in Langkawi staying at The VIlla and have had a fabulous time! The Villa was great for a mid-range hotel. We have a great room - Deluxe Double - with plenty of space and facilities. The Management and staff were brilliant, and couldn't do enough to help and make our stay stress-free and comfortable. Two small points about this hotel, one being that it is next to a Mosque so be prepared for the early Calling to Prayers (although we did know about this before we arrived), and it is about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Pantai Chenang (although if you download the Grab app - similar to Uber - it only costs 80 pence in a taxi). All the rest are definite positives, the buffet breakfast is lovely, and if there is not something you want from it, the staff are quick to offer you the alternative of an Omlette or any other egg variation. The Villa is spotless clean and the pool area and sunbathing area are amazing. Rooms are cleaned daily, and fresh towels provided, in addition to pool towels if required. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others staying in Langkawi, and we would return again.

  Good value budget hotel!

  The Villa Langkawi is not too far from airport, and perfect location to walk to centre of Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah (about 15 mins). All the staff are friendly and helpful. We booked a deluxe room which had a comfortable superkingsized bed, fridge, safe, tv, hairdryer, kettle. There was also a water station round the corner from reception to refill your water bottles. My only complaint would be the mosque next door woke me at 6.15am everyday, maybe rooms on other side of hotel weren't affected as much. The pool was a great size and very quiet during our stay, often being the only ones in the pool. There are some sun loungers at the end of the pool which we enjoyed. Breakfast was changed everyday, there were the staples of cereal, fruits and toast, but a variety of hot dishes to try including noodles, sausage and hash brown casserole, porridge, pancakes, scrambled egg, etc. Staff keep the restaurant exceptionally clean and replenish food as levels run low. I would recommend this hotel as great value for money, in this budget. Thank you for a warm welcome and relaxing stay.

  Smokers Heaven!! Non Smokers Killer

  We were checked in to Room 118. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Even served us breakfast at 6.45 as we had an early flight. Rooms were not as pictured. The room by the pool as in picture numbered to 4 or 5. The rest of the room barely had a window. Smoking was allowed by the pool which happened to be near our room, so we were choking of cigarette smell the entire stay which the staff couldnt do much! Poor management, pool and cigarette what a combination!! No where near the beach! So be ready for a long walk or car rental.
