  Good for short stay

  we stayed here for 1night because we have early morning flight from Male.We searched so many hotels near airport and finally opt for surfview and our decision was perfect. Neat and clean rooms.our room has small kitchen,drawing room and a bedroom.our room was bit small but perfect for short stay. Hotel staff was very helpful,especially the man on reception,sorry i dont know his name. hotel staff helped us finding taxi,exchange of money and so on...definitely a best place to stay.Our room was on 5th floor with a hreat view of bridge connecting two main islands and a sea.

  Worst place I've ever stayed in, anywhere

  I think I've only ever given a 1 star review on Tripadvisor once before and that was to a restaurant. Usually I can accept a few things going wrong here and there and let it go. But man, this joint........the worst. Pros : Good Location. Cons: Holy Moly. Where do I begin. Airport pick up booked in, they didn't show up. Had to ring three times and wait nearly an hour, standing around in sweltering heat after 21 hours on a plane is the worst. Room was as dirty, as it was small. Internet is slow and drops out all the time. Hot water? Yeh maybe, but usually not. Stayed for five nights, not ONE house cleaning service done. Even left the 'make up my room" tag on the door while we were away visiting a resort for two days, still nothing done when we got back. Asked for fresh towels for THREE DAYS before having to go and get some ourselves. Asked for toilet paper three times before we got any. Breakfast is horrible, ate there on the first day then went out every day after that. Then, as if one final poke in the eye from the staff, we booked an airport drop off at 6pm for our 9pm flight. 6pm came and went, 6.15pm came and went, 6.30 came and went and we kept getting told "he's coming........it's ok he's coming". Had to go and stand on the street in the pouring rain and hail down a taxi. Horrible experience, if i could give zero stars I would without question.

  Nice view

  Location wise very well but the hotel condition was not that good the A/C was not working properly and I couldn't sleep well as the hotel next to the main road and it's too noisy. toilet fan was too noisy as well the light was blinking.

  Misleading photos - rooms are just a little bigger than a match box.

  We booked the hotel for 1 night in January 2020 to catch a flight from Male on next day while coming back from a private resort. We booked 2 sea-view rooms for 2 families via Agoda. We checked in the hotel in the evening. The rooms we got, is just a size of a match box, they are sooo small that we could not get any place to open our luggage. Having said that, one of the rooms we got was not even a sea view room, and the view from window is terrible - wall of a under construction building, you can see the pictures attached here. Upon complaining the same, they told us there were no rooms left all were occupied. However, on the day of check-in we called the hotel and confirmed our stay. My question is , if we paid for sea view room , how can they deny to give us the same. Then they should have charged the room rent of that horrible room and returned us rest of our money. Also the tariff in this hotel is very very high , compare to the room size and view. I would never suggest any one to book this hotel, the photos are shown in the website is just eye wash.

  Most beautiful view between all malé hotels

  Bridge view, Gardens view, beach view and more. Only at surf view hotel raalhugandu You can also enjoy the view of both sunrise and sunset . I used to stay there every holiday because its near to almost every where
