  My rating for this hotel is excellent, and the major part of this is earned by staff. Guys make you feel absolutely like home! I was on a business trip to Skopje, and arrived quite late, all the restaurants were closed already, but the receptionist made me some sandwiches and brought a bottle of water to my room :) The hotel is small, in a quiet street. It is about 20 minutes on foot to the city center. The breakfast is good, the room was surprisingly spacy, but a bit outdated. Anyway the sleep quality is very good and you have all you need in the room. And I am sure that should you need something, you can always get it from the reception :) P.S. Don't forget to ask about their great restaurant nearby, the hotel can even provide you with a free taxi to go there and a good discount!

  Great staff good location

  Hotel Skopje is ideal for a business or leisure trip, it's centrally located close to the ZOO with very hospitable staff. Rooms are comfortable with plenty of space and provide everything necessary for good nights sleep. You can have lunch and dinner at the hotel or follow staffs recommendation for dining out.

  One night stay

  We stayed here last november for one night. Friendly stuff made our visit very pleasant. The rooms were clean and functional. Even though hotel is very small, it is located in a quiet street and this was very important for us. It is about ten minutes on foot to the city center. We had a very good experience with Hotel Skopje and I must admit that this hotel is a good choice for one night stay.

  Hotel Skopje - some good / some not so good

  This was NOT a bad hotel - comfortable and clean. But a few things detracted from by overall rating,. My room contained a BIG whirlpool bath, but no soap (liquid or cake) provided. Had to ask desk for soap. Rain at night - water dripping (from roof?) was hitting the metal air conditioner right outside my window like a continuous drum roll (I don't exaggerate) for a good part of the night. Not an ingredient for a sound sleep. Hotel is some distance from centre of Skopje. Not walkable.

  Low service, cockroach in bathroom

  I had no toilet paper nor soap at my arrival, no one at the reception around 10PM, a tobacco smell reaching my room early in the morning (my room was on first floor) and last but not least, I found a cockroach in the bathroom during the night. The hotel is close to the zoo (which is worth it). All in all a very bad experience.
