  Very decent and clean

  Not the best area if you are a tourist (better opt for Bole), but the hotel itself is very clean, with a good breakfast and very courteous staff. The only drawback is the very slow wifi and internet access.

  Not even close to 4 star

  Ethiopian Airlines booked us here for our overnight stopover and I might have preferred staying at the airport. While the bedding appeared clean, the carpet was disgusting, there was room service half-eaten food in the hallway for over 12 hours, a rotting piece of fruit in the corner of the elevator .... and that just for starters.

  Terrible - Shame on Ethiopian Airlines

  Want to echo fellow traveler reviews below, shame on Ethiopian Airlines for booking stranded guests in this property. We showed up at 230am after a delayed flight caused us to lose our connection and checked into the hotel, which is about 25minutes from ADD in what can only be described as not the best of neighborhoods. We went up to our room using the elevator - which was full of hay for some reason- navigated the dimly lit hallways to walk into our room, only to find leftover room service meals from who knows when, moldy shower, severely stained carpet and to top it all off, blasting noise from an establishment right across the street. We fortunately found another hotel and left the premises immediately. By no means is this a 4-star property. It's a motel, at best.

  Comfortable bed, but oh the NOISE

  We arrived at this hotel after an overnight flight. We were booked in a room on the third floor at the back of the hotel, facing the hills to the north. The room was well-appointed, aside from some damp marks on the walls and ceiling. There was a pounding bass beat coming from a blocked-off room on the second floor - possibly a restaurant, externally accessed? It was horrific, and it went on from 8a.m. until 9p.m. It meant that we could not relax in our room after a night flight. We wanted to take a shower - we could not, as the shower plug did not match the plugholes in the socket. Basic failure! Breakfast was good - we ate dinner out, so don't know about that, but heard good things from others in our group. Some people wanted to wander out in the evening to find a bar, but this was advised against because of the nearby red light district. Final word of warning, if taking a taxi back to the hotel, show the driver the hotel name. We said it, and he dropped us at a different hotel half a mile down the hill!

  Cool Hotel on the boarder of Addis Ababa

  The hotel is around piazza. It has a nice look outside and when you enter in the hotel you will get a lot of services. Like cozy rooms with best view of Addis Ababa, room services 24 hours, 24 hours interne services, 24 hours shuttle services, boundary services with extra charge, have small bars with different alcoholic drinks and beverage. Their food is nice specially the local foods. You will experience a lot.
