  Ideal location, nice hotel

  If you look for a hotel in the centre of volos then check this out. The rooms are comfortable and recently renovated. It is clean. The hotel is located in a nice street. The only cons is that there is not a parking space which may be a problem on weekdays as parking around is not allowed. But it is fine on weekends and public holidays when stores are closed. I would recomend this hotel to anyone who looks for a good place to stay, close to the port, testaurants and other amenities.

  Expensive for what it offers

  We stayed for 2 days in June. Good location, in the center of Volos. Old hotel but very clean. Poor breakfast. It could have larger variety. Price was very high for what it offers. We have asked for a double bed, but we got two singles.

  Good to be back ...

  Its been a few years but, I called them from the bus on the way up from Athens. Panos answered the phone, and took the details, and did not seem surprised with a 'see you in two hours' We arrived, and I think he remembered me. Swiftly accommodated, then he very kindly assisted me, with the usual travelers problems. Nothing too much of a problem and a great help. Maria looked after us once again at breakfast, with a smile as usual. Account paid and off to the port for the ferry. Lovely friendly hosts, and a quiet comfortable hotel - What more can you ask for.   Hotel Electra is the hotel on the good location in city of Volos... interesting rooms, and the furniture is nice, and on a few minutes from the beach and nice sea. The brekfast was ok and the service was ok...

  JUST A CONVENIENT LOCATION

  I would advise visitors with cars to park near the harbour, since the hotel is situated in a pedestrian area. All double occupancy rooms face the front and all other rooms face the back, which is quite noisy because of the central heating units placed on the roofs of the building across the road.We asked to move to a quieter room but this wasnt possible.The rooms were clean, the bathroom also.On the midfloor there was a large area with tv for relaxation.Breakfast was at medium standard.The location is fantastic since everything is at walking distance.Good price for a city hotel.
