  Great ambience Beautiful stay, balcony with view to alpspitze, comfortable, spacious and clean room, modern bathroom, friendly host, great breakfast with variety of fresh breadsand pastries, thick creamy yoghurt, cheeses, meats, bacon and scrambled eggs, frothy cappuccino We didn't investigate the sauna

  VERY NICE FAMILY RUN HOTEL - GREAT CHOICE FOR GARMISCH

  What we enjoyed most: central location, secure and free parking on site, comfortable beds, good breakfast with fair choices, sauna room with showers and physiotherm were very nice option, and the great service from the staff. What can be improved: bathrooms (at least so far as our room) really need to be modernized and updated. Also, balconies are joined very closely together, which means that if a group of people stay up late on their balcony and are very loud and drinking, like we experienced, you may not get much sleep. Also, when someone is on balcony and smoking, that smoke will very likely migrate Into your room. It may be best to have a dedicated smoking area downstairs outside the building.

  Garmisch-Partenkirchen-

  Summer holiday in Switzerland and Bavaria. Stayed in GP for 5 days, enjoying hiking and relaxation , including the Zugspitze Seilbahn and Mt Wank. We loved Hotel Garni-Brunnthaler , and would return when visiting again!

  Ok hotel

  We stayed here for one night on our 10 trip through German and Austria. We rented 2 rooms for 4 people. Parking at the hotel was free and we were charged 6 euro pp for breakfast. The beds were pretty comfortable but the pillows were a bit flat which seems to be the norm in Germany. The room was clean but the bathroom seemed dated. Breakfast was similar to every other hotel with a mix of hot and cold items. We were there on Christmas Eve and the lady working the breakfast was very sweet and festive! She also served us our drinks of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Before we checked out, we were given a large chocolate bar per room. We did notice that we could hear the other hotel guests through the walls and outside on the balcony. We use sound machines to sleep at night so it didnt bother us but it might bother others. WiFi was ok. Location of the hotel was close to the train to the Zugspitze but a further walk to the pedestrian area with shops and food. We were only going to the Zugspitze as non skiers so we decided to drive the 10 minutes to Eibsee and take the cable car straight to the top which was much faster.

  Rest in the mountains

  We stayed at this nice place 10 days in December-January. Very convenient hotel for walking and skiing (3 min from ski bus stop). Good breakfast, room space, mountains view, friendly staff-we liked everything. What was impressive for us it is lift in the house - easy to bring suitcases and easy to deal with ski equipment.
