  No frills - Value for money - Cheap clean friendly and well situated.

  The hotel staff are friendly and help and it is kept clean with daily linen and room service. Bottled water is provided daily. If you are looking for value for money and a place to lay your head then this is for you. Its a no frills basic accommodation but has all the necessities including a kitchenette and fridge to allow you to make drinks and even cook if you are inclined or just to store you edibles. This hotel is well situated just outside of the main hub of activity. ( shopping malls and Walking Street ) There is a 7/11 right next door too. The walking distance is 10-15 minutes which can incorporate a trip to the busy Thai side street market or the Chinese markets where you can purchase many excellent replicas or authentic products. There is a vast selection of stalls selling fresh produce and street food and an ideal opportunity to see and experience the culture and tastes of Asia. There are also several Thai massage shops which offer good rates 200 baht for 1:5 hours and are better and cheaper than in the main drag of the town. The main road in is on a good and frequent tuk route so just flag one down and hop on and off where you wish at a cost of 20 baht per ride.

  Diamond City comfortable stay

  I stayed for the first time at Diamond City Hotel for five days. I selected the site based on website description. Reservation was easily made, no payment required until arrival. The price in return for value was excellent. I would have been happy with a normal room, but I received a ktichenette with burners that didn't work, but I didn't need them. Room was large with balcony, wonderful air conditioner, good shower with hot water. Bed comfortable. The hotel offered room service but I never used it. Also I opted out of having my room cleaned daily, but everyday staff delivered two bottled waters, toilet paper, and soap. The hotel restaurant was small as is the hotel, but comfortable. I usually ate breakfast there and it was excellent, service was speedy, there were set menus for breakfast. Hotel reception was knowledgeable and helpful in getting my bearings. Walking Street and Pattaya Beach were a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Nearby there were convenience stores like Seven-Eleven and Famiy Mart, a variety of small restaruants serving vegetarian, Thai, Indian, Turkish, and American (McDonalds) foods. Transportation was readily available outside hotel by motorbike taxi and tuk-tuk. Wifi was 95% reliable and slow, but adequate. All in all, a positive experience. If returning to Pattaya I would consider staying at Diamond City again!

  I had a better sleep at a 2-star hotel

  Let's start with a few good points. The hotel is conveniently located, with reasonable price. Breakfast is sort of ok. That's about two good things I can remember. The hotel, especially elevator, is smelly. There is a small spider crawling on our bed sheet, and small ants walking around in the bathroom. There is a brown stain in the bed sheet as well. Towel is dark brown in color, so you cannot really see if it is clean or not. Blanket is quite old and Wifi is kind of slow. The worst thing for me is the pillow. There are three of us but the room only have two pillows. I called the front desk (at 10pm) and was told that the housemaid has gone home for the day and therefore we cannot get any extra pillow. The only two pillows that we have is way past their lifetime. Cotton in the pillow has turn into small lumps, and sleeping on it feels worse than sleeping on a bag of packing styrofoam peanuts. I have stayed in a 2-star hotel that is cleaner and has a much better pillow.

  Diamond City Place - good size room - guest friendly

  King size bed with good size room and safe box in room - guest friendly - free breakfast for 2 people - close to restaurants, supermarket, and clubs - friendly staff --- only negative thing is that TV position in the room.

  worst services

  first of all do not book with agoda . they take you as granted. room service very poor. ac water leakage inside room in morning I take foot out of bed which was in water . ac not working stuck on 29degree complaint not matter for them . always another room not available with them . breakfast very little and so limited tasteless even. agoda customer they ignore I noticed. please go on actual reviews . it's very average hotel I ever see
