  No aconsejable para personas solas

  La ubicación, si bien cerca del Waterfront, revela ser un poco aislada, y se hace difícil acceder en horas del anochecer. Barrio solitario y sin presencia humana a la vista. Las instalaciones son óptimas, pero al carecer de todo tipo de comunicación con una oficina exterior, que es sólo administrativa, no brindando ni ayuda ni asesoramiento al turista, la sensación es de aislamiento. El front desk, que funciona en la planta baja del edificio, sólo cumple funciones de seguridad y vigilancia. Consejo: si va en familia o con amigos, es una buena opción. Si viaja solo, vaya a un hotel convencional, donde pueda llamar a recepción, room service o bajar al lobby! Ah, markets están bastante lejos como para caminar cargado con groceries...y si se olvida de algo, mejor no digo lo que tiene que hacer!

  Huge disappointment

  Booking dates were moved unilaterally by Home from Home, ruining a family gathering that was planned last June already. Spent the weekend separated from family that were booked in another apartment. We were then moved by them to a city center apartment that was terrible - noise of clubs and disco's going through the night, staying on the 8th floor and elevator not working, very awkward and impractical furniture, a/c not working etc. No effort made to repair the elevator throughout the weekend, had to climb the stairs up to 4 times a day.

  Lovely place

  Beautiful place amazing views located centrally . Very comfortable. Kitchen spacious We truly enjoyed our stay and will def be back. There is a pool on the first floor . We had some guest unfortunately they were not allowed up to the rooms however they allowed them to sit in the foyer

  Dont give them a deposit - they wont return it

  I have no idea whether this hotel is good or bad, I never got there and never will I booked two rooms on a fully refundable rate but had to cancel as we cannot travel because of Covid 19 We cancelled on 30th July but have still nearly 3 months later not received the £500 plus we paid as deposit Made numerous attempts to contact only made contact once a month ago when told payment on its way Still not received and will not answer phones. Hoping theyve not gone bust !! Clearly we will not be staying here when we finally get to travel to South Africa again

  Evening in the City

  We spent the night at Canal Quays room 402 studio apartment last night.The apartment has all you need for a stay,bathroom is good with nice size shower.Lounge area comfortable with well equipped kitchen with all appliances you would need for a longer stay.The balcony is a fair size with a view of the canal. Only negative was the bed,the mattress needs to be replaced,its super soft with a dent in the center causing one to roll towards the center of the bed,not comfortable when sleeping as a couple.
