  during covid

  stayed here 9-2-2020 for 3 days .had room on ground floor, beside the stairs. room was clean (noticed no bugs) desk clerk was friendly, course during covid no room service but went and got extra towels and shampoo (no hassle) both pools were open with time restriction so all could enjoy,no breakfast at all ( other hotels on our trip offered grab and go) frig and micro worked and clean. shower no pressure but probably due to when you pulled the plunger up most of the water still flowed out the spigot. its easy access to stores and activities in pigeon forge weather you walk or trolley. easy in and out if driving. had two rooms here at Christmas time that was much better but also not during covid. so during the time of covid they are trying to accommodate so they can keep the business running.

  Not bad.

  Appreciate they allow pets, though its a very high price per pet rate compared to other places weve stayed. Quite noisy due to being next to a busy major road but thats not the hotels fault nor is there anything they can do about that. Smelled clean when we walked in, however after 30 minutes I noticed the babys socks were filthy (Im talking what was a twice worn pair of white socks were black on the bottom) and they ended up needing to be trashed when taken off at bed time just 2 hours later. Just super glad hes not a crawler anymore. Bathroom was clean and beds tall but comfortable. All in all not terrible and staff was nice.

  Great Location & Pet Friendly

  I stayed with my husband & our 67 pound dog for 3 nights. When we first booked I wasn't sold on this hotel because of the mediocre reviews & for weeks kept looking for another hotel that was around the same price & would allow our dog. I looked within a 30 mile radius, knowing that with the traffic, it would easily be an hour drive to that same area. I'm sooooo glad I stayed with this one! Price - They were reasonably priced. We paid $342 for 3 nights (after pet fee), I do wish their pet fee was less, $20 a night adds up quick. It's a basic hotel room that no longer offers free breakfast because of COV-ID. 4/5 for Room Rate. Location - The location is excellent! You can walk to The Island of Pigeon Forge, or many of the nearby tourist shops/restaurants/entertainment venues. 5/5 for Location. Cleanliness - Again, I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews. The first thing I did when walking into the room was used my Lysol Disinfecting Wipes & cleaned all surfaces. There was only 2 areas to mention, 1 of the nightstands had spots on it & the tub had a hair in it. I was pleasantly surprised that the dirty wipes were not black from dirt. I also didn't know if we'd find areas of dried urine on the carpet or even fleas in the room - didn't find either! 5/5 for Cleanliness. Pet Friendly - They allowed a bigger dog (many hotels had 30lb weight limit) and the pet friendly rooms were on first floor so we could get in & out easily. The walk between our room (112) and the grassy area for pets reeked of urine. Thankfully the smell was only outdoors & not in our room. The dogs in the rooms next to us would do the same as ours - look out the window at the outside noise. Thankfully you don't even hear much barking from other rooms while in yours. 5/5 for Pet Friendly. If you're traveling with a pet & don't need anything fancy from your hotel, stay here & you will most likely be pleasantly surprised!!

  Pet friendly

  Only stayed 1 night but it was just what we needed for last minute. Little pricey but not surprised for the area. Our cabin did not have power or water so we needed somewhere to stay 1 night with our dog.

  Disappointed

  Booked because it had Wyndhams name, so expected the same quality.Had a pet friendly room, upon opening the door you were hit with the smell urine, The dogs didnt want to go in, our son kept asking if we could open the window to air it out, the lysol spray only did so much (we stay all over with our labs in different pet friendly resorts when we are not staying at our timeshare and not once encountered this filth.) The carpet by the door was still dirty and damp where they had not cleaned it. I sat a towel down to show my spouse how gross it was. Their pet area is a small patch between the back parking lot and the harley dealership, at night you can watch the people fly by with out a care. The water pressure for the shower on cold was fine but if you wanted a hot shower after hiking in the cold forget about it. There was some funky stuff in the rail on the bath bar. The positives the front office staff is very nice, the location is very central to everything, the awesome heat lamp in the bathroom. *If youre traveling with your kids and dogs bring the clorox wipes, lysol spray for the urine smell, and some candles. Do better wyndham, take note from Clarion Lake Buena Vista on how to do Pet friendly rooms, how to clean them properly between guests so others arent walking into a room that is stained and reeks.
